More and more, lately, I have found a need for adult content filtering software. Whether it be unscrupulous operators sneaking cookies onto my computer, pop-up windows or blatant advertising in an unacceptable manner, advertisers of these types of adult services seem to have less scruples every day.
I, for one, am sick of it and so I went searching for a suitable software program to filter this adult content and keep my family from being exposed to it. There are a number of services available today including the old favorites such as NetNanny.
However, I have found that some of the newer programs have developed to handle more recent changes to some of the promotional materials that we don't want our families exposed to. To filter adult content is one thing, and almost all adult filtering software does an acceptable job of blocking this, but the latest offerings in adult content filtering software now have the ability to block other types of advertising that you really don't want your family to view.
One such program can even block online gambling sites, which I found particularly useful, simply by checking a few more boxes in the setup options. Some other programs, apparently, are building this feature into their software but the one I use was designed with this feature built in. This creates less issues when configuring the program initially and allows for changes as your needs dictate.
If you are even slightly concerned about the adult content that your family could potentially be exposed to, then you owe it to them to take a look at this high quality software. Adult content filtering software at an extraordinary price.
